Objective

A growing segment of people are purchasing insurance through brokers as it allows them to choose the best insurance product for themselves. Going to a broker also allows customers to conduct a wide search while investing a limited amount of time. There is a natural marriage between this behavior and what can be achieved through a website. The objective was to achieve this. This site was the first of its kind as far as we have been able to establish.

Because Carinsurance.ca is still private and still building its offering, and because this industry is still undetermined, no results can be printed. Nonetheless, it has been an overwhelming success – we just cannot say to which degree.

Solution

Baldhead Systems Inc. created a Web site that allows people to enter required information once and receive the lowest quote - which varies depending on the deductible chosen - from eight different insurance providers. Users can also electronically apply for insurance based on a received quote.
